  • 1 kg loaf of country bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g of finely chopped chicharrones fried pork rind
  • 100 g of pig lard
  • 300 g of sugar
  • 1 cup of orange juice

  • Preparation
  • Heat up the chicharrones with the lard.
  • Take the bread, shred it into breadcrumbs and mix it with all the ingredients.
  • Use just the yolks of the eggs, and if the mixture is too soft, add flour until the mixture can be worked with the hands.
  • Make bun shapes which are then placed on a baking tray greased with lard, and use one finger to make dents in the top.
  • Before putting them in the oven, paint the buns with beaten egg white and sprinkle with sugar.
