Ingredientes
- 2 cups yellow corn grains
- 4 1/2 cups cold water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Elaboración paso a paso
- Preparation
- Cook the corn grains until they are still a little hard. Blend them with 3/4 cup of water. Blend them little by little.
- Strain it and add other 3 1/2 cups of water, the cinnamon stick and sugar.
- Boil it on a very low flame, stir constantly. Add salt when it's boiling and continue cooking until the corn is completely cooked (about 10 minutes).
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top and serve hot.
