Ingredientes
  

  • 8 small grapefruits
  • 1 tapa de dulce panela
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 grated lemon skin
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 200 g of sugar
  • Stuffing ingredients:
  • 400 g of powdered milk
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • Optional: You can add 100g of cashew seeds peanuts or nuts

  • Preparation
  • Peel the grapefruits and set aside the pulp for another recipe.
  • In a hot pot add the grapefruits and cook them with the baking soda to avoid the bitter taste.
  • When they are ready, wash them and leave them for one day. They have to be very dry.
  • Syrup for the grapefruits:
  • Melt the tapa de dulce with the cinnamon and the cloves. Then cook the grapefruits in the syrup. Add the grated lemon skin and cook on a slow heat.
  • Stuffing preparation:
  • Melt the butter with the condensed milk. Add the powdered milk. You can add the seeds.
  • Stir until you get a homogenous dough. Fill the grapefruits with this mix and finally, cover them with the sugar.
