  • 8 large tomatoes
  • 100 g of pork
  • 100 g of beef
  • 100 g of cured ham
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Mint

  • Preparation
  • Scoop out the insides of the tomatoes and place them on a baking tray or oven dish.
  • Fry the onion, peeled and chopped very finely, in a frying pan with olive oil.
  • Separately, chop the beef, the ham and the pork into cubes and add everything to the frying pan when the onion is brown.
  • Once the meat is fried, set aside a few chunks of ham.
  • Put the rest into a mincer together with the hard-boiled egg to achieve an even mixture.
  • Then season it with salt and pepper and stir everything well once more.
  • This mixture is used to stuff the tomatoes.
  • Then put one of the small chunks of ham, previously set aside, on top of each tomato.
  • Once on the baking tray, pour a dash of oil over the top and leave them in the oven for 15 minutes or until they are well done.
