BISTEC ENCEBOLLADO (STEAK AND ONIONS)

Ingredients

  • 2 thin center-cut beef fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • Ground oregano, cumin, and salt to taste

Preparation

In a bowl, season fillets with garlic, cumin, oregano, and salt.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium high. Add fillets. Cover for 15 minutes.

Turn fillets over and saute until cooked and caramelized.

Add onions and 1/2 cup water and cover for 5 minutes.

Serve with rice.
