RIOJAN-STYLE GREEN BEANS

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of green beans
  • 100 g bacon
  • 6 pork ribs
  • 150 g chorizo sausage
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 50 ml of olive oil
  • Salt

Preparation

Remove the threads from the beans and cut the beans into pieces.

Put the bacon, ribs and the sausage to cook in a stewpot.

Add the beans (they should be cooked half an hour before serving).

Fry finely chopped onion and a clove of garlic in hot oil.

Add the drained beans to the onion base, and finally the other ingredients.

Carefully collect the lard and stir it into the stew. Check the salt.

Presentation

Place beans in a deep serving dish and garnish with the sausage, bacon, etc.

You can also add some cooked potatoes.
