CALATRAVA BREAD

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 8 tablespoon of sugar
  • 3 biscuits or 6 muffins
  • 2 1/2 glasses of milk
  • To the caramel:
  • Sugar
  • Water

Preparation

Put three tablespoons of sugar with a trickle of water in a pan and put on the heat.

When the sugar has melted and starts taking on colour, remove it and put it into the mould you will be using to make the dessert.

Once the caramel is ready, beat the eggs, add the milk, sugar and the biscuits or muffins and combine in the blender.

Pour the mixture into the caramelised mould, and put the mould in a bain marie, leaving it to cook until a knife comes out clean.

When it is ready, leave to cool and put into the refrigerator until cold.
