Romance Expert. As Director of Catering, Angie Kemp brings over 10 years of experience along with a superior sense of creativity and execution to Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. Angie is the current President of NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) and is a Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE). Prior to joining the team at Estancia La Jolla, Angie managed wedding, catering and conference events at The Dana on Mission Bay, where she demonstrated a creative eye, fluid communication and commitment to detail. Angie takes pride in bringing inspiration to life and is committed to the couples she works with by making their wedding dreams become reality. Her distinct passion plays a big role in perpetuating Estancia La Jolla's reputation as a "Best Wedding Venue" by San Diego's ABC affiliate, KGTV-Channel Ten. Angie enjoys the evolution of wedding planning, in its entirety, but is most gratified by special moments from the beginning as well as complete satisfaction after all is said and done. "I love seeing the joy in their face when the bride and groom decide that Estancia is the right place, the perfect place, for them to exchange vows and celebrate their union together."
